RESEARCH AND TEACHING INTERESTS

Professor King specializes in family, aging, and social demography. Current research focuses on relationships between fathers and their children, relationships between grandparents and grandchildren, and the influence of parental divorce on children. She teaches sociology of the family, family policy, and sociology of aging.
